DESCRIPTION

A portable coffee maker designed around a simple concept: the cup itself serves as the filter. By reimagining the traditional press-style coffee maker, it offers a purer, more intuitive brewing experience with a compact, user-friendly design—making it the ideal choice for home, the office, or on the go. By combining immersion brewing with gentle pressure-assisted extraction, it brews rich, full-bodied coffee with surprising ease.

At its core is a patented cup-driven press system. Simply add ground coffee, pour in hot water, stir, wait a moment, and then press down. During the steeping process, the built-in duckbill valve helps retain water in the brewing chamber, promoting flavor release before extraction begins. As pressure is applied, the valve gradually opens, allowing the coffee to flow into the cup below. No plunger, no complicated techniques—just a single, simple brewing step that consistently delivers satisfying results.

Equipped with a permanent stainless steel filter, it eliminates the need for paper filters while allowing the coffee’s natural oils and flavors to fully permeate the brew. The result is a rich, smooth cup of coffee with a full-bodied flavor and a delicate texture. The wide opening and minimalist design make filling, cleaning, and reassembly quick and convenient, encouraging daily use.

For best results, we recommend using medium-ground coffee. It adapts to a variety of recipes and brewing styles, from espresso to large cups.

Camp or every day coffee

I didn鈥檛 buy this to camp with. I don鈥檛 camp. I do make coffee though!Basically, I鈥檝e used a stainless pour over coffee maker for at least 15 years. I love the system. What I didn鈥檛 love was the need for a paper filter (yes, those other pour over systems require filters or they clog and stop working). I also got tired of my coffee getting cold because i rarely get to just sit through an entire cup of coffee in the morning. Enter Stanley.First off, this is quality stuff. Fine made cup and pour over filtration. Beautiful stuff. You do want to learn how to make good coffee in this or you鈥檙e going to be disappointed. No matter if you use a regular tea kettle or one with a gooseneck (more on that), pour slowly. Basically just slowly wet the grounds with the first pour. Follow that slow pour throughout to as not to agitate the grounds anymore than you have to. It leaves less sludge in the bottom of your coffee in the end. If you can afford a gooseneck kettle, get one. It makes the process so much easier with a gentle stream of water.I basically do not put the cover on the cup immediately unless I need to leave it to do something else before that first sip. It鈥檚 just too hot and you will burn your lips. I do put the lid on when it starts to cool and it really does keep coffee at a good temp for plenty of time to enjoy. Not hours, but long enough to not end up drinking cold coffee. The plus to having a paper filter is that it鈥檚 easy to dispose of. The downside to a paper filter is cost and waste. You鈥檒l learn to avoid the little sludge left at the bottom quickly enough and realize that it actually makes your coffee better in a subtle way. This reminds me of a camp percolator coffee pot. It basically makes the same kind of coffee, sludge and all and uses the same principle idea of hot water moving slowly through coffee grounds.Note: Do not use fine ground coffee. Bad! :-(

Love it!

Love it! Great for camping or traveling. Not crazy about the lid. It is left hand compatible but I鈥檇 like a better airtight lid.

Fantastic coffee maker!

I was excited to try this coffee maker out ever since I saw it on YouTube. Arrived early the next day and immediately put it to work. I used my 14 oz. Yeti coffee mug, and three tablespoons of drip ground coffee. I used my small electric kettle to get the water up to about 200掳, gently poured the water in. I was surprised at how quick it filtered into my cup. I have to say I am extremely impressed with this device, it made a perfect cup of coffee, no bitterness just a smooth, mild, rich, tasty cup of coffee. I actually bought this primarily for home use and it will be my everyday coffee maker from now on. Very happy!!!

Good set for camp or emergency

This is going to be a life saver when the power goes out again. I'll still be able to make my morning coffee as long as the gas company keep the flow up or I can resort to my camp stove. Pretty well made. I think it's going to hold up fine. Easily disassembles for cleaning. The cup comes with a nice lid. Vacuum insulation keeps hots hot and colds cold.

Stanley quality you come to expect

Typical Stanley quality. Solid design and heavy duty. Perfect size for a cup of coffee. I like the cup and compare it to my high priced insulated version. As much as I love this cup, the Stanley performance appears to be just as good and performs well. Brewing from the top takes some time, but that's expected in these DRIP style makers.

Game changer!!

Man, I gotta tell you, I love this set! Makes great coffee fast and easy. Cleanup is a breeze, and it'll support making at least 24 ounces of coffee (my Stanley beer stein is my favorite coffee mug). High quality, ease of use, great value for the money too! I'm a happy camper!

Love it

Carry this thing in my work bag and camping. The old school appearance is a bit nostalgic for me. Perfect size for a cup of coffee and generally keeps my coffee at the right temperature for awhile. The clean up can be a bit messy, but as long as you are careful it works great

Don't hesitate; this product is wonderful

I was a little hesitant about buying this product after reading some of the reviews, but this thing has changed my life. It's not as delicate as people are saying, as long as you take care of it properly. Here are some things I've found that helps me maximize this product and the flavor of my coffee:1) Heat up the carafe and your mug before you start brewing. Pour some of your hot water into both container, making sure you warm up the sides as well. This helps keep your coffee warm, which releases the aromas and flavors that you're looking for. When you start with a cold carafe and pour it into a cold mug, you keep losing heat and your coffee will get cold before it hits your lips.2) I think the reason people see this device as delicate is because they put it in their sink to clean later, so it bumps and clinks against other dishes. Just rinse this bad boy immediately after use and you'll be fine. I don't even take soap to it; I just rinse it really well and let it air dry. What I've found by doing this is that the coffee tastes better and better each time. Those coffee oils are no joke. I think it's like the cast iron skillet concept. I'm obviously going to wash this with soap after awhile, but so far this has been key to delicious flavor. When you rinse your carafe, make sure you use hot/warm water so you don't crack the glass. Going from hot to cold is what ruins and breaks glass.3) Brewing coffee like this is not for the busy person rushing out in the morning for work. You probably already know that, but I feel like its necessary to mention. I'll usually pour water until I don't see a crema anymore. I've found that you can speed up the process a little if you pick up the filter just over the rim and gently shake it from side to side to encourage the water to go through. The water will resist going down by the end of the process, so this seems to help. It also helps getting all the grinds to the bottom of the filter so it's cleaner when you throw the grinds away (it hits the garbage in one chunk rather than splatter all over the place).4) I'm still playing around with the best grind size. What I've found is grinding your beans to different sizes and combining it all makes the best combination. So I'll grind my beans to regular drip coffee, cone, and espresso, and combine all the sizes. This helps with the water going through and makes for a great flavor profile.Hope this helps! I highly recommend this product; don't be afraid of coming over to the pour over side! Your coffee will be more delicious than you ever expect and you'll never want to drink coffee any other way again!

Great camping coffee set

Great set for camping- we use flat paper filters to avoid the mess of the testable one when water is limited. Lightweight and a cool mug to sip out of is an added bonus.

Perfect Set for a great cup of coffee!

Love it! lol, probably could be the shortest review ever if I just left it at that...I purchased this and it arrived in the mail today, and I used my recently purchased Colleti crag grinder (do not buy that thing lol), and made my first cup with with this pour over coffee maker using some Cafe Bustelo. Super easy, and very tasty cup of coffee...my only two complaints would be the plastic adapter that holds in the filter, I wish it was metal or ceramic (trying to get away from plastics in my coffee makers), and the lid that comes with the mug, it does not have a sliding cover so the hole you drink out of is always open...not that it's a HUGE cup so it didn't really get too cold while I was drinking my coffee, however if I'm in my garage doing some woodworking, I can't close the lid to keep dust out of my cup...I have to put something over the top of the lid.
